Sarah Appelhans is a yoga teacher and mechanical engineer in the Albany area.  She discovered yoga when she was in college and fell in love with the practice.  She found that it stopped the chatter in her head and helped her deal with the chaos of college life.  She received her 200-hour teaching certification a few years later from Adrian Tartler of Siva Power Yoga in 2009. Since that time she has also studied with teachers such as Seane Corn, Kino MacGregor and Guy Donahaye.  She loves teaching yoga because she is able to help people every day with all kinds of difficulties, from pain relief to anxiety and depression to illness and disease.  She has found that no matter what ails the body or mind, yoga always helps.  She is extremely grateful to all of her teachers for introducing her to yoga, and she is dedicated to sharing the practice with others.
